United States v. James Nicholson, 04 Cr. 414 (RJS)

On June 21, 2023, defendant James Nicholson filed a motion for compassionate release, that is, to reduce his sentence of 40 years’ imprisonment to time served and to be released from prison.  The Government opposed the defendant’s motion on September 6, 2023.  Copies of both the defendant’s filing and the Government’s opposition are available at the links below.
