The Securities and Exchange Commission instituted settled administrative proceedings against the seven specialists firms that operate on the floor of the New York Stock Exchange (AP File Nos. 3-11445, 3-11446, 3-11447, 3-11448, 3-11449, 3-11558, and 3-11559), pursuant to which it recovered $247,028,778 in disgorgement and civil penalties. The settlement fund is being administered by a Fund Administrator:

United States v. Joseph Bongiorno, Patrick McGagh, 05 Cr. 390 (SHS) - Case assigned to Judge Sidney H. Stein - Defendants pleaded guilty on 5/12/2006 to securities fraud charges. Sentencings adjourned until 9/14/2006, at 4:00 p.m., and 4:30 p.m., respectively.
