US vs Constant et al
Randy Constant, Tom Brennan, James Brennan, and Mike Potter each pled guilty to one count of wire fraud. John Burton has been charged with conspiracy to commit wire fraud. The charges resulted from the sale of grain fraudulently marketed as organic. The sales were primarily done through a business co-owned by Randy Constant named Jericho Solutions, which was located in Ossian, Iowa. The sales at issue occurred between 2010 and 2017.
U.S. v. Quality Egg, LLC, et al.
Quality Egg, LLC (also known as Wright County Egg and Environ), Austin (Jack) DeCoster, and Peter DeCoster pled guilty to a misdemeanor charge of introducing adulterated eggs into interstate commerce. The charge resulted from Quality Egg, LLC’s sale of eggs contaminated with Salmonella Enteriditis between about the beginning of 2010 and August 2010.
Quality Egg, LLC also pled guilty to one count of bribing a USDA Inspector and one count of selling mislabeled food with intent to defraud or mislead.
United States v. William B. Aossey Jr.
William B. Aossey was convicted by a federal jury of conspiring between around 2007 and 2010 to commit mail and wire fraud, sell misbranded meat, and related crimes. Aossey was also convicted of seven counts of making materially false statements on export certificates, and seven counts of wire fraud.

William B. Aossey was convicted by a federal jury of conspiring between about 2007 and 2010 to commit mail and wire fraud, sell misbranded meat, and related crimes. Aossey was also convicted of seven counts of making materially false statements on export certificates, and seven counts of wire fraud. In a related case, Midamar Corporation; Islamic Services of America; ISA, Inc.; and Jalel Aossey, pleaded guilty to conspiring between about 2007 and 2012 to commit mail and wire fraud, sell misbranded meat, and related crimes. Defendant Yahya Nasser Aossey pleaded guilty to two lesser counts relating to his responsibility for the sale of misbranded meat as a responsible corporate official.
